Melissa is an eccentric illustrator who was born in San Francisco, California, and now lives in the Midwest. She works primarily in digital and she loves her Intuos4 tablet very, very much. She is well-versed in the ways of Photoshop and oftentimes includes bits of traditional media into her work. She is highly inspired by Disney, Don Bluth, Studio Ghibli, and many other works in the animation industry. Her favorite artists include Kimihiko Fujisaka, Alphonse Mucha, and Audrey Kawasaki.

Her clients include: Plays for Young Audiences, Computer Arts Magazine, The Johnathan House, Rainboot Labels, and Mercury Mobility.
